North Harbour Racing Counties/North Harbour have a combined road race scheduled for Sunday September 27th. There will be A, B, C, and D grades and as this date coincides with the NZ Secondary Schools event in Manawatu entries from junior grades are not expected to be high. This race will be over the Taupaki circuit. Entries must be recieved before the 21st of September and NHCC reserve the right to cancel the event should there be insufficient numbers.
As CMC are not running a race this weekend please support North Harbour as it is in all our interests to keep several viable racing clubs going in Auckland. The travel is no more than many of us do to race out "South"
PLEASE NOTE that NHCC will also be running a race this coming Sunday, September 13th on their Kumeu circuit. Entries will be taken at Kumeu Hall from 9.00 a.m. with race start 9.30 a.m.

Auckland Cycling News - Hudson, Gavin & Martin Auckland 1000 A big thank you to all the volunteer officials who helped run the Hudson, Gavin & Martin Auckland 1000. We had about 70 people involved in various roles. It was great to see the co-operation from all the clubs.
And we have had some thanks from the riders, including some who enjoyed the brief rain!
Next year’s race is programmed for Sunday 22nd August – put it in your diaries now. Auckland Cycling News - Junior World Track Champs Congratulations to Sam Webster and Ethan Mitchell on their gold medal success at the Junior World Track Champs in Moscow last month. It is good to see the track programme broadening its base from endurance events based around the team pursuit into other events.
When Sam first turned up at the Velodrome a few seasons ago it was obvious he had the fast twitch fibres and leg speed to make a very good sprinter. He has realised that potential and provides a role model for other aspiring sprinters. The weather has certainly been spectacular this last week or so! I for one have enjoyed some good long rides in these great conditions. I trust that you have done so as well! Stay safe and upright Chris Button
