There was some great racing in the grades at the Auckland 1000 on Sunday, run for the most part in far better weather than forecast. A big A grade field still couldn't stop 1 G. McCaughley doing a "Gordy" and TT ing off the front for an all the way win. All other results available on the website.
RACE CANCELLED - THIS SATURDAY (5TH SEPTEMBER)
Regrettably the race committee have had to make the decision to cancel the race at AkaAka this weekend due to insufficient entries. We have not received enough entries to even come close to covering traffic management costs little loan prize money, hall hire etc.
The next scheduled race is the Club Road Champs @ Maukau on the 12th September. Just a reminder that we have to have received your entry by 9.00pm Sunday the 6th September. Please make sure you submit your entry on time and lets make this a great days racing.
NB:- Even if you have registered for this weekends cancelled race please resubmit your entry for the club champs. On your entry please list the age group you are licensed under, as detailed on your license e.g. Masters 2, U17 etc.
