North Harbour Racing Cancelled This Sunday Due to a shortage of personnel and hall availability the North Harbour Cycling Club regretfully has cancelled the racing for this weekend (12th July 2009). Lead Cars & Wheel Wagons - Auckland 1000 The club is looking for people interested in volunteering their vehicle to be used as either a lead vehicle or wheel wagon for the upcoming Auckland 1000. If you would like to perform this task please contact Stu McIntosh.
Club 50 - Plenty of Numbers Available? The third draw of the Club 50 was on Saturday at Aka Aka and No. 33 won $100 for its owner, Grahame Colson – he’s had the number for two years and was very pleased to win!!!!
The next draw is on 25 July at Waiau Pa. Mike Giddey runs a fundraiser for the Club whereby you buy a number for $50 for the season and you have 10 chances of winning $100 and at the end of the season somebody wins $1,000. Road & Track Commissaired Course Hawkes bay will be hosting a National Road/Track Commissaires course on September 4-6th 2009. If anyone from the club is interested in sitting this course please click here for more info.

Lion Foundation Cycle Challenge - Wellington to Auckland The dates for the 2010 Lion Foundation Cycle Challenge has been set for Sunday 14th - Saturday 20th Febuary 2010. The event starts in Lower Hutt and ends 7days later in Pukekohe, for more info visit the Wakaroc Website.
Auckland City Tri Club Pukekohe Raceway Auckland City Tri Club has organised event at the Pukekohe Park Raceway for a duatlon and cycle pursuit/time-trial which will take place totally within the racecourse.
The event will also help to raise funds to assist Auckland City Tri Club athletes heading to the various off-shore World Championship races this year.
Sunday 9th August Events on the day as follows: 11.00am - Duathlon – Run 5km / Cycle 20 km / Run 2.5 km 1.00pm - Sausage Sizzle Lunch & Prizegiving 1.30pm - 1 or 2 hour Cycle Time-trial (choice can be made on day) or Team Pursuit (4 or 5 cyclists) or Individual
