June Marshalls.
We have made a couple of changes to previous list for the 20th June & added a roster for Time trial champs on 27th at Aka Aka

Here are the marshalls for 20th June (there have been a few changes) and the 27th June.  As usual club members are expected to do the marshalling themselves if they are unable to get a friend or family member to do it for them.  Let me know of any changes to Phone 263 6228 (leave a message) or on email to

Raffle
A reminder also re the big raffle which will be drawn on 20th June at Mauku. Tickets are $5 and there are some great contributions in here to be won, including;
Dinner to value of $150 at Cibo ( listed in Metro's top 50 Akl eateries)
Assessments from Auckland South Chiropractic, Foot Traffic Podiatry, Nutritional products from Hammer Nutrition & Power Bar, and more that I dont know about yet. You do not have to be there to win so if you dont already have a ticket you can book one using the race entry phone number if you are not racing on 20th. All proceeds are going towards supporting our clubs junior riders selected for various overseas tours.

Auckland 1000 definitely on
Cycling Auckland has decided to run this year’s Auckland 1000 on Sunday 30 August as planned, despite the fact the event has no naming rights sponsor.
The Karaka circuit used for club nationals in 2007 will be the venue, with events for A, B, C grade and Under 17s.
If there are enough entries from elite women and U19 women, they will get a separate event.

Support needed
We are looking for help in a variety of areas to make the event more financially viable.

Flat deck truck required for the finish line for the judges, finish video camera operation. If it comes with curtain sides so much the better. If anybody can source a truck F.O.C. could they please contact us.
A Generator is needed to power up various bits of equipment in the finish line area. Once again please get in touch.

Individual race sponsors – programme advertising. If you can help out in this area it would be greatly appreciated.
